Medimpex was present at the official opening of US$17-million Kingston Logistics Park (KLP), which will boost economic growth as the island positions itself as a global destination in cargo trans-shipment and logistics services.
The park, which is a 18,000-square-metre modern warehouse, is located on lands adjacent to the Kingston Freeport Terminal Limited, which serves 12 major shipping lines and has weekly connections with over 100 ports facilitating cargo movement in and out of the region.
Dr. Filip Nedić (Managing Director) and Mr. Sergio González López (Operations and Project Manager) had the opportunity to discuss with the Prime Minister, the Most Honourable Andrew Holness, about our company and its presence in Jamaica for over 4 decades, mentioning the values of our parent companies in Hungary and the 120 year-existence of Gedeon Richter, as a reference to Jamaica’s 60th anniversary of independence commemoration.
